Shaggy decries Worldwide Bloodshed

International Reggae Star Shaggy popularly known as Mr. Boombastic has decried the bloodshed that taking place in the world today. Shaggy who arrived in Uganda on Monday to stage two concerts says deaths in the areas like Iraq and elsewhere are uncalled for and a source of misery to families all over the world. Shaggy was among the US marine forces that fought in the 1991 Gulf War. He prays for peace in the world and an end to war. Shaggy is in the country to perform at the end of the year concerts slated for 31st December 2003 and 1st January 2004. He defended his music which focuses mainly on women and sex saying it is what his audience needs. Shaggy will on Tuesday 30th December visit several charities where he will donate to the needy children of Uganda.
